Dear Editor,
Recently graffiti has become more noticeable in my college. I feel quite annoyed at them, especially when some of my classmates praise them as a kind of so-called art. Confronted with this impolite phenomenon, I can't help asking myself: what is wrong with today's teenagers?
In my opinion, graffiti is a form of vandalism. They are a mess and are ugly to look at. Meanwhile, walls are public places, and they should not be used to express personal views and feelings.
I really think vandalism should be stopped, and those who refuse to stop this bad practice should be punished. We should clear away these ugly expressions and drawings so that our college may return to its true self--a clean, quiet place for study, teaching and research.
Yesterday is my six year old birthday. It is important to me as I can go toprimary school after my birthday. It means that I grow up.
I got up very early at that day. My mother just smiled at me and saidnothing. I felt a little down.
But I recovered with excited soon and then I went out to play. Everythingin my eyes is so beautiful.
When I got home about five o’clock my mother gave me a surprise. Sheprepared a party for me and invited all my friends.
She also gave a lovely schoolbag to me as my birthday present. I’m so happythat day.
I liked playing computer games, but my daddy was not happy because he thought it was not good for my study.Sometimes I felt I was not a free boy when my daddy was so strict with me,so I tried to talk to my daddy, and he said he was happy because I talked to him,and now he let me play games if I study well. From this,I understand a friendly talk can help people get along well.
Hello, boys and girls!
Pressure is a serious problem in today’s world. Students in our class are under too much pressure. Some students can’t get on well with their classmates, while others may worry about their exams.
I’m always under pressure, too. My parents want me to be the top student in class. So they send me to all kinds of after-classes at weekends. Last Monday evening, I had a talk with my mother. I told her I was not lazy. I really felt tired. I needed time to relax. My mother agreed with me at last. So I think a conversation with parents is necessary to solve the problem.
That’s all. Thank you!
