kind常作形容词,后可接人、心地等具体的或抽象的名词,在句中作定语或表语,例如:
A few kind words at the right time make all the difference.在适当的时候说几句体贴话效果迥然不同。
friendly可以作形容词,不是副词,在句中不能修饰动词作状语,只能用作定语或表语。用作表语时,可与介词to或wi th连用,且friendly前可用very、quite等词修饰,例如:
His friendly manner lulled her into a false sense of security. 他友好的举止使她产生了一种虚假的安全感。
