    Instead of going to well-known tourist places on vacation, a growing number of visitors in China tend to spend their free time at lesser-known resorts(不出名的旅游胜地). Reverse tourism(逆向旅游) has appeared as a new trend(趋势) among young visitors in China.

    According to number from an online travel agency, the number of rooms booked at hotels in less-traveled cities during the holiday was up 30 percent year-on-year. Bookings for four-star or five-star hotels in less-traveled places all increased at least 10-fold(十倍). Some lesser-known scenic spots posted double-digit growth during the holiday.Baimaiquan Park in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, received 52,100 visitors in the seven days, up 15.78 percent year-over-year.

    Besides crowds, some visitors chose less-traveled places to save on the cost of trips to popular destinations(目的地). In addition, lesser-known attractions are not as “commercial”(商业的)as developed ones and are able to offer more actual experiences and natural encounters. Changes in demand may be the main reason for the popularity of reverse tourism.

    “The rise of reverse tourism is not a bad thing,” said Zhengzhou Daily. It means that visitors now have more choices, which brings more possibilities to the tourism market. More importantly, it encourages the places to improve themselves to be better.

    Jiang Han, a senior researcher, said that reverse tourism will become one of the future directions for the market. Jiang suggested that more efforts be made to explore the potential(挖掘潜能)of lesser-known destinations. It is necessary to dig deeper into the local customs and highlight the local features(特色) to improve the quality of local tourism.

    Time files when you play on your smartphone. But when you get down to the real business of work and study, one hour feels like a year. Why are we so interested in smartphones but easily bored by studying?

    It is all caused by something small and hard to see: dopamine(多巴胺). Dopamine is a “pleasure chemical” that makes people feel good. Our brains give it out when we eat delicious food, after we exercise or when we get a prize.

    Compared with studying, playing on smartphones causes our brains to give out more dopamine. For example, checking your phone for a text leads to a 400 percent increase in dopamine. But why?

    When we visit social media(媒体), we don’t know what we’ll see next, or who will give opinions about things we report. This “magic of maybe”, makes the dopamine system active. We get excited wondering if we have messages from our friends. When our needs are met, dopamine is given out.

    And to find more dopamine, we continue checking our phones. Studying doesn’t provide such magic. Without this excitement, we get bored much more easily.

    Can we do something to change that? According to scientists, apps can become less attractive if we turn off notices or change the screen colors to black and white. We can also set time limits on apps to avoid using them too much.

    As for studying, you could check your progress daily or weekly and reward yourself for it, said Daniel Wong, writer of The Happy Student. You could also search for interesting topics connected with your textbook. Use what you’ve learned to make an influence in the real world. This will make knowledge much more interesting to learn.

Next, I want to have a book sale so that children can buy less expensive picture books than before. Then, I decide to keep the notebooks for myself. Keeping them brings me lots of sweet memories. Finally, I will take the paper that can’t be used to the waste center.
