worth:adj. 值…的;n. 价值;财产
worthy:adj. 值得的;有价值的;配得上的,相称的;可尊敬的;应…的;n. 杰出人物;知名人士
2、句子中作用
1)worth 通常只用作表语,不用于名词前作定语;
例:It isn‘t worth the trouble.
不值得费那个事。
2)worthy 可用作表语和定语。
例:He is a worthy gentleman.
他是位值得尊敬的绅士。
3、固定搭配
worth习惯上不用very修饰(要表示类似意思可用well);
而worthy和worthwhile则可以用副词very修饰。
