end和ending的区别
一、意思不同
1、end：(时间、事件、活动或故事等的)终止，终结。
2、ending：(故事、电影等的)结尾，结局。
二、用法不同
1、end：end的基本意思是“最后部分”“末尾”，引申可表示“端”“尽头”“梢”“终止”“死去”等。end作“结局”“结果”解时可加不定冠词。at one'send的意思是“在那里”，指说话人或对方所在地，介词at有时可省略。
2、ending：基本意思是“结束”，通常指某一发展过程的最终结束。
三、侧重点不同
1、end：侧重于客观存在的事的结束。
